What Is Felt?
Felt is a non-woven textile.
It is made by compressing and matting fibres (sheep's wool) together until they connect to form a sturdy fabric.
Cats are attracted to the fabric because of lanolin oil which gives wool antimicrobial and antifungal properties.
Using Natural Dyes, Our Felt Products Are Made From 100% Bio-Degradable Merino Sheep's Wool.
NEEDLE FELTING
Our felt toys are designed with just wool and a needle this process is called needle felting.
It is made by rolling up a small amount of wool and stabbing it with the needle.
Wet Felting
Our felt bedding is made in a slightly different way through layering the felt fibres and binding them together then applying water and soap.
